For this challenge, capture two images of the same scene or subject.
Darting a leopard is a dangerous undertaking. The dosage of the tranquilizer must be exactly right, the timing perfect, and the men must have nerves of steel.
Today, Mr Leopard woke up, just enough to make the men do the Darted Leopard Dance, characterized by some rather fancy footwork.
Peeking at a dazed leopard isn’t always a good idea – even if the cage is almost closed.
Another growl – and the dance is repeated.
Warning: Don’t try this at home, folks..
PS: The leopard was transported to his new home, where he now roams free – like a happy big cat should.
Wish you had video for this 🙂
I was running too fast!
I don’t think I’m brave enough for proximity to dangerous animals….regardless of their state of consciousness! Great shots and perfect for the challenge!
Thank you! It was raining, so you’ll see some smudges on some shots. Still, it was wonderful to see…
Awesome experience, from a bit of a distance.
Bigger distance = better!
