Rolbos is about satire. It’s a fun blog that takes swipes at those in authority and pokes fun at serious matters. As such, Rolbos relies on freedom of speech to convey its message.
It is thus with great sadness that Rolbos extends its sincerest condolences to the families and friends of Stéphane Charbonnier and the fine cartoonists who worked at Charlie Hebdo.
Rolbos may only be a small blog by an author of little repute, but the principle endures: satire is a way to call people to pay attention to the world they live in. Yes, we laugh at the mistakes and blunderings of politicians and others who aspire to fame, but the underlying serious nature of these actions may never be ignored.
My prayers are with those left behind. May you find the strength to forgive the terrorists who will never understand that – to live in the small world we inhabit – we have to stop taking ourselves so seriously.
And for God’s sake, stop using Him as an excuse for killing people.

first of all, allah is not God. It’s an entirely different entity. God is love. (The bible 1 John 4:16) Allah is not. Allah commands little children to be hanged, girls who fell victim to rape to be stoned, and Islam to take over the world. In the UK alone their have been over 5000 honour killings. Islam is not here as a religious concept or sleeping pill to troubled people, islam is not a concept to have a dialogue with. Islam means to conquer and Islam has declared war to the free people. Just read your Qur’an. the problem is Europes naivity, assuming as soon as Immigrants are exposed to our wonderful European way of life they will all turn into Nathan the wise. At the moment it is not even possible anymore for European citizens to vote at all against immigration or to set boundaries with islam.

I’ve been following Rolbos for just over 8 months now and have very much enjoyed reading about him and reading his posts. His cast of characters is entertaining as well as thought-provoking. I almost feel that I know him and so was not surprised to read his special post this past week in the wake of terrorism against French satirists. I think it is important to share this and ask you to read it carefully to the end and then pass it on. It is time senseless violence was ended.
